Jaquan Jones

Hi, my name is Jaquan. I recently completed my BS in Computer Science Engineering at CSULA in May 2022, graduating with Cum Laude distinction. I am a quick learner, capable of comprehending and implementing new concepts and technologies into my workflow. My interests include Full Stack Python development, mobile development & machine learning. I enjoy exploring new programming technologies and prototyping mobile app ideas. I received my AS in Mathematics and previously tutored different level math courses through Calculus III and Linear Algebra, along with C++ programming for intro/intermediate level programming and OOP.

As for general programming languages, I have a preference and am most knowledgeable using Python but have advanced knowledge of Java and Javascript from coursework. My recent interest has been in furthering my mobile app development skills, advancing my knowledge in Dart/Flutter specifically for cross-development development. Recently, my interest in ML has matched my mobile development interest. I've completed various projects involving supervised learning models, primarily using the scikit-learn Python module in my coursework and for extracurricular projects. While providing freelance web development services, I've gained proficient knowledge of PHP, typically in WordPress development.
